A delegation led by Mr. Ahmed Said Mohamed the Director General of the Immigration and Citizenship Agency (ICA) of Somalia, is currently on a work trip to Germany. During this visit, DG Ahmed Said, accompanied by the Ambassador and Deputy Ambassador of Somalia to Germany, held a significant meeting with the president of the Federal Police of Germany.
The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation between Somalia and Germany in the field of migration. Key topics included experience-sharing and capacity-building initiatives aimed at strengthening the capabilities of officials working in immigration.
The German government, which has a longstanding partnership with Somalia, has made notable advancements in leveraging modern technology. This progress has been instrumental in improving immigration processes and enhancing border security. The Immigration and Citizenship Agency of Somalia is poised to benefit from Germany’s extensive experience and expertise in refining immigration services.
